Some tiles may also have edges that have been chiseled for a vintage appearance.
While they don’t come in a wide variety of colors tiles will range from cream to brown. Tiles made from travertine can work very well on walls but are also very popular for use on floors. In fact, they are one of the most sought-after choices for patios and for surrounding swimming pools.

Both travertine and marble tiles will definitely add an upscale look and feel to wherever they are added. However, their looks and style are without a doubt pretty different. While marble is both very classy and classic travertine is elegant but with a much more rustic appearance.
And while both can be indoors on walls and floors travertine is the better choice when you’re looking for outdoor tiles. Travertine is durable enough that it can handle extreme weather conditions while at the same time will provide a non-slip texture for wet areas.
